Just think how wonderful it would be to have rapid transit lines running along Hwy #5 between Hwy #403 and Waterdown and along Trafalgar Road between Hwy #407 and into Oakville. Metrolinx has proposed transit enhancements for the Halton area to also include Waterdown. Plan to attend October 29th at Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Road (just north of the 403) Halton is hosting a public meeting for all communities affected to have input in the Metrolinx draft plan. Format includes an open house from 6 to 7pm, followed by a public meeting and presentations at 7 to 9 pm.
